More Info:

Deep in the heart of Hell Paso Texas, Ministry's Al Jourgensen's studio has been at warp speed for the past year, furiously hammering out the third and final edition of the trilogy, THE LAST SUCKER follows 2004's HOUSE OF THE MOLE and 2006's RIO GRANDE BLOOD. After 12 albums and 27 years (including four Grammy nominations), Uncle Al's decided the Ministry garage is ready to close it's doors, leaving THE LAST SUCKER as the final Ministry studio offering. THE LAST SUCKER might well be the end of Ministry's journey but rest-assured, it's chief mechanic and designer has plenty more lead in his pipe.

Reviews:

Al Jourgensen is calling it quits concurrently with longtime nemesis George W. Bush (although we're guessing Dubya hasn't exactly been wringing his hands over every Ministry release). From the early "Everyday Is Halloween" synth goofiness and the genre-defining Land of Rape and Honey to later missteps and his career-resurrecting antiwar trilogy, Jourgensen has been a singular presence in industrial music. Looking forward to whatever he opts to do next, regardless of the politics.
